https://malada.dreamwidth.org/ malada - Dreamwidth Studios Thu, 16 Apr 2026 13:30:24 GMT LiveJournal / Dreamwidth Studios malada personal https://v2.dreamwidth.org/17754242/261422 https://malada.dreamwidth.org/ 100 50 https://malada.dreamwidth.org/161869.html Thu, 16 Apr 2026 13:30:24 GMT https://malada.dreamwidth.org/161869.html I've just had the second suspicious spot removed from the skin on my left shoulder.&nbsp; I was well numbed up for both so the procedures&nbsp; wasn't painful, were merely uncomfortable.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Today, it hurts a bit.<br /><br />My primary dermatologist ignored the spots when I pointed them out.&nbsp; My secondary ordered biopsies.&nbsp; Then she removed them.&nbsp; In addition, my primary ignored the flaking, the pus and the bleeding AND the loss of hair on my head.&nbsp; I'm going to one more appointment with my primary to chew them out, show them my bald head and fire them.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Steroids helped with the scalp but made me jittery and (more) sleepless.&nbsp; I'm off to get blood tests to see if a new treatment will work for me without side effects.&nbsp; <br />&nbsp;<br /><br /><img src="https://www.dreamwidth.org/tools/commentcount?user=malada&ditemid=161869" width="30" height="12" alt="comment count unavailable" style="vertical-align: middle;"/> comments https://malada.dreamwidth.org/161869.html cancer discontent public 0
