Elon goes BOOM!

StarShip goes BOOM again!

Elon said de-orbit the International Space Station and said, "Let's go to Mars."

Dude, you can't even get to orbit.

Space is hard, I get that. But dude, you suck. You've ruined X/Twitter, you bought into Tesla and ruined that with Cybertruck, and you're ruining SpaceX with StarShip.

You're ruining the government by random firings and lying about the savings you're (not) getting.

You can't spell FELON without ELON.

Eh, I don't think we can blame Elon for Tesla sucking and starship going boom... from what I hear he's not that involved in the day-to-day running of both and not at all in the engineering. He's the sort of boss that turns up once a month or so, holds meetings where he says a ton of buzzwords and then fucks off wherever and everyone ignores and gets on with what they were doing before.

He's an overgrown edge-lord frat boy who bought his way into success, hired a lot of smart people and then took credit for their work. I mean, no-one hears about the original founders of Tesla (who still work there) or SpaceX's real bosses or engineers. You know, the ones doing the actual work.

But yeah, their block 2 ship design needs some fine turning still, although the super heavy booster is working like a charm. Still, how many falcon 9's blew up before they got the design right? There's a very fine line between a rocket and a bomb..

I agree however that he is royally cocking up the federal government, but then I also hear he's much more hands-on with that and it's *all* people skills... which he is notoriously bad at.

It's not that StarShip went boom that's the problem. It's that launching heavy lifters from Texas means there's massive risk that when StarShip goes boom it does so where it will hazard populated areas and commercial flight paths. Which has happened with both launches in 2025.

And the only reason he's doing it from Texas is politics, tax breaks and lax environmental enforcement. And now he's gutting the FAA so they won't be in a position to make any demands of him. I fear it's a matter of time till a life is lost.
