I'm a Pfiizer girl
I'm a Pfizer girl, in a Covid world....
Got my shot on Friday afternoon. I didn't sleep well so I slept in. I was tired and achy Saturday but I was well enough for my scheduled lunch with an old friend. Tylenol is my friend. Next Friday I get my flu shot.
My boss has me taking Mondays and Fridays off in October so I can get use up some of my vacation and sick time before I retire. If I don't use up my time they'll pay out full for my vacation and one quarter for my sick time when I finally leave. My trainee has done really well so I'm pretty sure there won't be much to clean up Tuesday through Thursday.
They had my 'cake and bag' party early as my boss won't be able to make it for my actual retirement day. The get a cake and empty out the premium closet for neat and silly things. I got PBS stickers, three PBS/NPR shirts, branded glasses and mugs and a pile of DVD: all six seasons of Downton Abbey and nearly all the local documentaries that our station has done in the past 3 decades. It's quite a haul! I'll have something to watch for a little while.
