The push came for me when windows blew on me, again...I've always wanted to try it out, but not having a spare system or willing to risk the main one, I didn't. But, having nothing left to loose I went for it..
so far...well it's a nice oS, but installing stuff is a pain in the ass. I prefer the click'n'go on windows. Also, linux documentation sucks..."just unpack the .tar into th dirctory and type ./run --install"..yah, out the what into where and type into what? and then it doesn't work anyway.
It's ok, but it suffers from a lack of standards and th assumption that the person using it already knows how to. Which would be a product of it mainly being built by those you call xprimnters and rebels.
