Since impulse control of people with guns has failed we might as well have gun control.

We've tried their way of "an armed society is a polite society" and "good guys with guns". It's failed. Time to take their f*cking guns.

The wild west was an armed society.. it wasn't particularly polite nor was there many good guys with guns stopping people from burning ranch houses and driving settlers off..
