On International Transgender Day of Visibility

Hi!

Oh, and to all the Xtians who are butt hurt about it falling on Easter - tough. Learn to share. Trans people have suffered so much by religious jackwagons that it's long past time you gave up hating.

This is my resurrection too, you know.

I've never been able to understand why Abrahamic religions consider anything sexual to be the most heinous of crimes. I've known several very "out" gay people and a few trans folk. None of them ever did anything harmful to me, except one guy who liked to make fun of me for being a Trekkie and for having been a country-and-western radio DJ (he was an opera lover). I called him names in Yiddish when he did that.

And I've seen a meme (it was a poster nailed to a telephone pole) Jesus told us "Love your neighbor" That means love your gay neighbor, your Muslim neighbor, your immigrant neighbor, your Hispanic neighbor, your handicapped neighbor. Everybody in the whole world is your neighbor, so go on and love your neighbor. And I believe in "infinite diversity in infinite combinations"; it keeps us from getting bored.
