In the meantime the Right Wing Nut Jobs are screaming it's because the Leftists are the cause of all this violence ... you know, the ones wanting to ban guns, protect sex trafficked women, keep gay folks safe ... yeah the dirty hippie peaceniks who want to stop gun violence by GETTING RID OF THE GUNS.
I heard that Mr. Kirk was on that college campus to decry the 'violent trans folks/agenda'*, Where was he when 49 people were killed in the Pulse Night Club massacre? When kids were (are) getting shot up at school? Probably on some podcast saying how important guns are.
It was wrong that he was shot to death. It's wrong when anyone gets shot. Charlie lived by the maxim that guns are good and we have blood sacrifices to the God of Guns so we can keep our sacred right to keep guns. He just didn't realize he was going to be the next one to be dragged to the altar to be slaughtered.

Trump must be really glad his potential rival/successor Charlie took one for the team and diverted attention from the Epstein files. Still, they're getting better at this, the shooter got away and no-one's any the wiser about who he was.
