I've been watching for pardons today

With Trump exiting the office of the Presidency very very soon a lot of noise has been made about the huuuge number of potential pardons he will dole out.

Eh... maybe not. Donnie boy is lazy. Signing few dozen pardons... maybe. He'll get tired or bored after that.

Oh, and all those rioters looking longingly at their Savior... good luck. You guys failed. You're all losers to him. No pardons for you.

That's my take at this late hour.

Actually, I'd like to see him try to pardon himself and his family. It'd get shot down of course, but as part of the process he'd have to list every crime he thinks needs pardoning. Pardons are processed according to the crime, not the person, so he couldn't just issue a blanket carte blanche.

So, in effect, he'd just be handing the FBI a list of what he and his family have been up to.

Well the first round is out, including a bunch of his cronies, but he hasn't pardoned himself (yet). I doubt he will. To do so would be to admit he did something wrong. He would never admit to that.

I'm reliably informed that Joe Exotic has a limo on stand-by outside his prison, anticipating his pardon.
