I've been reading about a new Conservative dating app tentatively titled 'The Right Stuff'. Even though there's already a non-conservative dating app called 'The Right Stuff'.

Ooopsie! Someone didn't do basic research!

But I thought there already was a conservative dating app... it's called 'Grindr'.

It looks like the Nazis down in Florida are going to have another history lesson.

I'm old enough to remember when "parental warning labels" were applied to the sleeves records (real vinyl) back then) because *somebody* thought the music had _bad lyrics_.

This caused all the labelled records to be bought in record quantities.

Now Florida wants to add this label to books they want to ban:

“This Advisory Notice shall serve to inform you that this book jas been identified by some community members as unsuitable for students,” the label states.

Yeah, those are the first books that will disappear from school shelves - taken by the students who want to learn what their parents don't want them to know.

When I first heard of the Gay Republicans forming their own group, I had some small hope for the Republican party.

That was many moons ago. They were a pitiful group then, they're an even more pitiful group now.

After being (insert rude saying here)... well, being badly treated by most Republicans and Trump in particular, they go and shell out money (how much is not reported) to have a big party down in Mar-a-Lago - you know, Trump's resort - to hand out a plastic trophy to Trump's trophy wife and fawn over her.

Do you really expect the Trumps would agree to such a thing if they weren't being *paid* for it?

The most glamorous first lady ever? Seriously? I don't care... do U? Christmas layouts like a Red Wedding? Her outreach too... oh, I give up.

I don't know how low people will to go to get their tax cuts but the whole 'fiscally conservative' stance is sheer nonsense. Face it folks - you're not wanted in the GOP. You may be rich, you may be white, you may even be a gun totting NRA member, but the GOP is strictly a Straights only party. They'll take your money, they'll take your fawning, but you'll never *be* one of them.

They'll use you and abuse you and drop you like a rent boy when they're done with you. That's what fascists do.

Rioters and insurrectionists assaulted the Capitol building last night.

Police response was WEAK and LIMP and FLACCID allowing the rioters free reign to disrupt the largely ceremonial counting of the ballots.

Traitors in Blue. There's video and picture evidence of police AIDING and ABETTING the rioters.

This is not a failure of intelligence - everyone knew potentially violent and ARMED people were coming. Barely a shot was fired. No nightsticks were unlimbered. Pepper spray and tear gas were deployed by the teaspoon. Where were the crowd suppressing heat and sound rays? Where were the tanks?

Maybe they were kept in reserve in case a black person with a cellphone or maybe even a Subway sandwich showed up.

They say one bad apple spoils the barrel - I say it's time to toss the barrel.

Even with the election still undecided at this point - this I know:

A large percentage of the American population is either deluded or evil: they voted for Trump.

I'm not blaming the media on this - although they do share some of the blame - the information is out there. Tax cheat? Well known. Racist? Well documented? Liar? The evidence is overwhelming. Spouse abuser? How does four marriages stack up?

Swindler? Trump University. Successful businessman? How many bankruptcies has he had? The list goes on and on.

And for fluff's sake... *look at him*. With his phony hairstyle, love of the Village People's YMCA, and the whole *look at me! look at me!* attitude he's a straight Queen. He even uses makeup! Badly too.


Instead voting for a decent, kind, hard working man that is Joe Biden - they went with the abuser, the racist, the liar. Between - not the lesser of two evils - but someone who is by any standards Good, and one Evil, they went for the Evil. Bigly.

But more than that, a large number of American nod their head in agreement at his actions. Rip children from their parents and put the kids in cages? Perfectly fine with that. Killing Black people for breathing? Completely cool with that. Oppose well established scientific knowledge? Climate change is a hoax - I want my SUV! COVID-19 response? Here - drink some bleach!

I could go on and on....

They went in wide eyed to the polling booth and pulled the lever marked EVIL.

Many people claim we should try to understand the Trump voter. I understand them very well, thank you very much.

...so how do I feel about this?

Let me tell you what's going on in our area: we've had a spike in cases - mostly from churches, restaurants and bars.

My housemate works at a school and was feeling poorly Friday - probably from lack of sleep and allergies: tired, runny nose - no fever or coughing, and took a sick day.

The school officials want her to take a COVID test. Fair enough, caution is good.

With the spike in cases it's going to be a FEW DAYS before she gets tested and ANOTHER FEW DAYS before we get the results.

So we're sitting around AT HOME both WEARING MASKS out of abundance of caution.

So how do you think I feel?
