House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) is in discussions with at least one publisher about a book deal at the same time that he is leading the Biden impeachment probe, Axios has learned.

Does Comer realize that most of his base doesn't or can't read?

He may well be in negotiations, but it's possible he hasn't realised that House Floor protections against defamation suits do not apply to his publisher. And with the current situation of revelations about where all his material came from, I don't think any competent publishing house's lawyers are going to want them to touch any of it.
