So across the pond... the Conservatives just got their asses kicked and the Labor party is taking control of the British Parliament. Good going guys and gals!

You're going to need a bigger broom to clean up the mess the Tory's left behind.

I just hope that we can do the same thing here in the USA.

I'm hoping the progressives and moderates in France are paying attention--not because they're in a position to sweep a damaging conservative party out of power, but because they have a chance to prevent National Front/National Rally from taking over the legislature to begin with. Each time we get to see such an administration take hold of a country for years, we see the damage, and even when it's over things are never quite the same and it will take monumental effort to get things remotely close to better. And being in Canada with the Tories polling well here, I'm aware of living in what could be one of the 2025 dominoes to fall.
