I wanted Biden to continue but with support for him drying up and his health declining (COVID damn it) Harris was the logical choice.

I'm not going to point fingers and blame folks for wanting him to drop out: it's not the time for that. It's time for everyone to gather around Kamala Harris and beat Trump and Project 2025.

To be blunt - it Trump wins and Project 2025 enacted, it's the camps for us.

Well, if money decided the way the election goes (ha!) then Harris has it in the bag... The Dems just broke the record for donations at $30million overnight!

Honestly, I think all those who were dithering over voting for Biden because of his age, probably will be a lot happier with Harris. I think the Republicans know this too, since they're making noises about suing the Dems for "fraud" having spent a ton of money campaigning against Biden on grounds of his age. Their smear campaign just boomeranged on them.

Of course, this only counts if they accept the results of the election, and don't decide to say to hell with the will of the people and democracy and stage a coup, again. I mean, it probably wouldn't succeed, these people aren't the sharpest tools and couldn't organise a piss-up in brewery, not to mention there's the whole military, police etc who aren't likely to back them in any great numbers.

If Trump wins and Project 2025 is enacted, it's Australia for you. We'll work something out.

And by "you", I mean both of you and any stuffed bunnies and squirrels you bring with you.
