Right now the COVID vaccine and the flu vaccine are running around my immune system, playing loud music, creating graffiti and generally poking my white blood cells yelling, "COME AT ME BRO!" and being generally a nuisance.

So I'm a bit achy today. Didn't sleep well either. But if the Real Deal comes strolling into town, my immune system will be waiting with brass knuckles, knives and various forms of guns.

Germ warfare - where the germs *lose*.

What Covid vaccine did you get? I got a Pfizer with my flu shot and didn't feel *too* bad.

Hope it passes soon.

I got the Pfizer vaccine along with the flu shot.

I mostly feel run down and I'm trying to take it easy today. It's usually my day to vacuum and mop the floors along with doing some laundry - but I'm leaving the cleaning for another day.

I can't claim the metaphor as my own. I saw an animation of the vaccine putting on a COVID disguise and poking at all the white blood cells - who then slam it with a big hammer. The vaccine's last move is showing a sign saying, "More of me are coming. Remember me."

The animation ends when the real COVID shows up... and it's Hammer Time.

I got the shot yesterday also, and today I'm feeling awful; worse than the previous booster. Woke with chills and fever this morning, spent the day in bed with aches, fatigue, and headache. Feeling a bit better now. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be back up to snuff.

Meh, it's still a helluva lot better than covid itself.
